Dear Students,
The 2026-2027 Okan Proficiency Academic Exam (OPAE) will be administered in two sessions.
Date: Monday, September 14, 2026
Time: 09:15
Session I consists of the following sections:
Your exam room information for Session I will be sent to the Okan e-mail address assigned to you by the University. You can also check your exam room information in the list below.
When you arrive at the University on the exam day, you can also find your exam room information on the information boards located in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Building and the School of Foreign Languages Coordination Office Building.
Date: September 15-16, 2026
The Speaking Exam will be administered on September 15 or 16, according to the assigned schedule. You are required to check your Okan e-mail address for your exam date, time, and room information.
Students who receive a score of 80 or above on the OPAE will be considered to have successfully completed the English Preparatory Program and will begin their studies in their respective faculties.
Students who receive a score below 80 will be placed into Route 1 or Route 2 based on their OPAE results:
Students placed in Route 1 will take the ALAT (Academic Level Assessment Test) at the beginning of the academic year to determine their English proficiency level.
