The students of Istanbul Okan University, Department of Accounting and Financial Management are required to complete their internship in min. 40 days in accounting and finance-related businesses or other businesses in this area as part of their education. Students have the opportunity to find internships at public accountant offices, banks, insurance enterprises, forex and factoring businesses, customs enterprises and auditing firms. Students are free to choose their organizations of internship, but when it is necessary the department provides students with other internship opportunities.
Through the internship program, students can take part at the world of professional work and students' theoretical education can meet the practical experience. Also in terms of personal development is no doubt a very valuable experience to be gained.
