Nowadays, tourism establishments and their decion makers are affected to a
large extent by several factors such as globalization, increased competition
and development in the tourism sector, complexity arising from technological
development and change in tourism demand.
As OKTAM, our objective is to investigate the legal, political,
economic and socio-cultural aspects of international and Turkish tourism and to
conduct interdisciplinary research on the tourism sector and the service
providing establishments, aiming to provide research findings that
will improve sectoral performance.
