Program-Specific Criteria for Bachelor's Degree Programs in Economics and Similar Fields

  • Students must be able to understand the fundamental theoretical knowledge of economics and the relationships between economic concepts.
  • Students must have the competence to collect and analyze the data needed to understand economic events and trends, and to use this data to develop logical and applicable solution proposals.
  • Students must have the ability to follow and analyze economic developments and to comment on economic events.
  • Students must take the program-specific core courses, such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, monetary theory, econometrics, history of economic thought, Turkish economy, development economics, and international economics.
