Program Outcomes

1) Students gain the ability to explain the basic knowledge of the field of International Relations, including the development process of the discipline, new and defining concepts, scientific methodology, theories and models.

2) Students gain the ability to use appropriate tools and analytical techniques to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data in relevant fields, to interpret the results and to propose solutions.

3) Students gain the ability to classify the concepts of Turkish politics, comparative politics, international relations, diplomatic history and foreign policy.

4) Students gain the ability to analyze and critically evaluate the local and global dynamics of current socio-economic and political developments, foreign policy and conflict resolution issues.

5) Students gain the ability to discover and create entrepreneurial opportunities and experiences to successfully establish and develop their own businesses.

6) Students gain the ability to apply their knowledge in international institutions and multicultural environments and to develop an interdisciplinary approach that enables them to synthesize and relate the knowledge of different disciplines to each other and reach new results.

7) Students gain the ability to translate and explain the content of documents written in English related to the field.

8) Students gain the ability to value human rights and multicultural diversity and defend these principles and values, as well as the ability to communicate with individuals from different cultural backgrounds in social and professional areas with an empathetic approach.

9) Students gain the ability to set personal, professional, social and business ethics standards, evaluate the ethical dimensions of various practices in relevant fields and be aware of the importance of ethical behavior in the process of adding value to society.
