Regulation on the Principles Regarding Transfers Between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions
ARTICLE 16 –
(1) (Amended: OG-9/6/2017-30091): “A double major program may be established between associate degree programs conducted within the same higher education institution and other associate degree programs, between undergraduate programs and other undergraduate programs, or between undergraduate and associate degree programs, upon the recommendation of the relevant departments and faculty/school boards and with the approval of the senate.”
(6) (Added: OG-16/8/2011-28027): “The courses and credits that the student must take in the double major program are determined with the approval of the senate upon the recommendation of the relevant departments and faculty boards, taking into account the Higher Education Qualifications Framework determined by the Council of Higher Education. The relevant double major undergraduate program must be arranged in a way that ensures the student possesses the defined learning outcomes based on the minimum knowledge, skills, and competencies required to be attained at the end of the program.”
In accordance with this, students who are enrolled in any undergraduate degree program of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and meet the admission requirements may pursue education in a second major program after the evaluation of the Faculty Administrative Board in the undergraduate program they apply to.
