It is mandatory for students in the Department of Information Systems and Technologies to complete a summer internship. Students can start their mandatory internship at the earliest during the academic break at the end of the sixth semester (third year). The duration of the mandatory internship is at least 4 weeks (20 working days), and the 4-week internship must be completed in one go. An internship that is not approved by the internship commission or is incomplete without a valid excuse is considered invalid. Students can complete their mandatory internships in organizations that meet the criteria specified in the department's internship guidelines, with approval from the internship commission. During the internship, students prepare an internship report, following the guidelines outlined in the internship regulations. The internship report must be approved by the organization where the internship was completed. The internship report is submitted to the internship commission at the beginning of the fall semester.
