Our Mission


Istanbul Okan University Food Engineering Department aims to graduate students who are capable of producing safe and high quality food economically from farm to fork, capable of designing and managing necessary systems, can keep up with the technological changes of the age, have an understanding of innovation, learned how to learn and think analytically, educated with the qualifications needed by the industry, ready to be beneficial in business life and society, have a sense of professional ethics and have a good knowledge of spoken and technical English.

Istanbul Okan University Food Engineering Department, as well as being an educational institute that graduates qualified food engineers, also aims to become a research institute that propose and carry out projects for meeting the national/international demands, and then to perform and provide the project results to the society.
