The Department of Nursing aims to educate qualified nurses who are capable of planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for the protection, promotion, and restoration of the health of individuals, families, and society, and who are aware of their professional, ethical, and legal responsibilities. The program is based on the provision of nursing care grounded in scientific principles and aims to develop students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
Education in the Nursing Undergraduate Program is conducted through an integrated approach that combines theoretical courses, skills laboratory practices, clinical applications, and internships. Through clinical training carried out in public and private healthcare institutions, students have the opportunity to develop their professional knowledge and skills in real practice settings.
In today’s healthcare systems, the demand for the nursing profession continues to increase at both national and international levels. Accordingly, the program is structured to support graduates in becoming professionals who can deliver ethical, evidence-based, and high-quality care in various healthcare settings.
