The interior architectural discipline covers the designing of buildings, interior spaces, furniture and other accessories, by producing contemporary, original, functional and aesthetical solutions, in line with the users physiological, psychologilical and sociocultural requirements; paralelled with the technological progresses. The candidate designers trained as such do take up the human and place – furniture interrelation from technical (construction, materials, etc.) and aesthetic (form, colour, texture, etc.) dimensions.

The training objective is to raise students as able designers to take part in both national and international platforms, fully equipped with the riches of their cultural geography. This goal takes its content from pioneering professional names who partake in project works, seminars and colloquiums supported by a program in which the specific and general design principles are approched primarily.
