Our Centre for Learning, Application and Research participated in THE Digital Universities Asia 2025, held in Hong Kong, with the aim of following current developments in digital transformation and further strengthening our university’s vision in this field. On behalf of the Center, International Accreditations and Rankings Unit Manager Our Research Assistant Begüm Gündüz represented our University at the event.

As one of Asia’s leading digital education events, the conference hosted a wide range of content designed to accelerate the digital transformation journeys of universities. Throughout the event, numerous panels, seminars, and workshops were held. Academic leaders, technology experts, and digital education entrepreneurs came together to engage in in-depth discussions on the present and future of digitalization in education.

Participants shared their knowledge and experiences on topics such as AI-supported learning models, data-driven instructional design, management of digital campus infrastructures, and enhancing student experience through digital tools. As Istanbul Okan University, we gained valuable insights from these sessions and found the opportunity to develop new approaches that will contribute to our digital transformation strategies.

Continuing to actively advance the process of digitalization in education in line with the needs of our era, Istanbul Okan University considers participation in such international events a strategic priority. THE Digital Universities Asia 2025 has been a significant step in strengthening our university’s position in the global digital education ecosystem.
