You can apply for a document (student certificate, transcript, disciplinary record, etc.) through the OIS System, and you can get your document with electronic signature through the system.
You can choose a course, view the course schedule and your exam results, and message your lecturers and advisors.

When you apply using your Student Number and TR ID number through the "Forgot Password" link on the OIS platform, your new password will be sent as an SMS to the mobile phone number registered in the system.
If your mobile phone in the system is not up to date, you can update your mobile phone by applying to the the Student Affairs offices.

Course schedules are published in the announcements section of the Graduate Education Institute website at the beginning of each semester.

Select your courses through OIS during the "course selection period announced in the academic calendar and send your selected courses to the advisor's approval through the system. Please note that you have to send your selections to the approval of your academic advisor. Your course Registration will be finalized following the approval of the academic advisor.

Those students who did not choose their courses through OIS during the course selection period, they can apply to the Graduate School (Institute) secretariat by filling out the "Manual Course Registration Form" which can be downloaded through our website. Students who do not register for courses on time, they take the risk of not being able to attend the courses. For this reason, course selections should be made at the beginning of the semester.

You can contact your academic advisor, whose name can be found in the OIS system.

Students can change the courses they have registered during the specified period called as “add-drop period” in the academic calendar. If you want to change the course selection during the add-drop period; you can change your courses and send them to the advisor's approval by using the "I want to change course selection" button on the course selection screen.

Students can access online courses through the O'Learn Education Platform. You can access to the platform O'Learn using your OIS username and password. There is a user guide in the system.

Registered courses can be found in the "Courses" section. By entering inside a specified course section, participation to an online class is provided through the "Collab" section. There is a user guide in the system.

If your classes are recorded in the system by the instructor of the course, you can access your class recordings during the semester and watch them again whenever you want. Class recordings are available in the Records tab in the Collab section of the system. There is a user guide in the system.

You can check your exam results through the Exam Results sections under the Documents menu of theStudent Affairs Automation System. Mid-Term and Final exam results are announced by the instructor within one week following the exam period. If you cannot find your exam results, you can contact the instructor of the relevant course.

The financial records of each student and the OIS system are integrated to each other. If the student has overdue debt and / or has not made the required payment, OIS account will be blocked.

As soon as the due payment is made, the OIS account is reactivated. Payments made are reflected into the system during the next business day.

"Academic Advisor” is the head / director of the program you are registered with. It advises you for all academic processes/operations. This person can be another person who is appointed as your academic advisor by your head/director of the program. The “Thesis/Project Advisor” is the faculty member assigned for you by the head of the program, who is responsible to guide you during your thesis / project works.

The maximum duration of the master's program with thesis, excluding the time spent in scientific preparation, is six semesters. Whether a course is selected or not, the program duration starts to count with the beginning of the first academic semester. The minimum period to complete the courses is two semesters and the maximum period to complete the courses is four semesters. The program can be completed in a maximum of six semesters (including the thesis).

Whether a course is selected or not, the program duration starts to count with the beginning of the first academic semester. The maximum period to complete the courses is three semesters. The program can be completed in a maximum of three semesters (including the project).

For those who are accepted to the PhD program with a master's degree with thesis, excluding the time spent in scientific preparation, the doctoral program is normally eight semesters. The maximum legally allowed period to complete the courses is four semesters. The total maximum legally allowed completion period of the PhD program is twelve semesters.

When the Istanbul Okan University Postgraduate Education Regulation (26.10.2016) is entered; It is explained in articles 8-9-10.

You can submit it at the end of each semester within the framework of the academic calendar and the specified important dates, taking into account which semester you are in academically and without exceeding the deadline.

Graduation procedures will be started after you make your thesis defense and submit the required documents to the institute. No due payments should exist in order to qualify for the graduation.

For those who will graduate from the Master's Program with Thesis;

For those who will graduate from the Non-Thesis Master's Program;
