The aim of our program is to train the personnel for occupational safety needed by industrial organizations and to meet the need for 'Occupational Health and Safety Specialist' capable of taking responsibility for occupational safety organization and occupational safety. In addition to this, creating a healthy and safe environment by minimizing the risks in the workplaces, eliminating the dangers at the source, increasing the worker and factory work efficiency by giving all the attention of the working person to his work in this environment, minimizing legal, conscientious and financial responsibilities as a result of any accident and thus contributing to the national economy by increasing the profitability of the enterprise. On November 27, 2010, with the regulation numbered 27768, graduates of the Occupational Health and Safety Program were accepted as technical staff. Class C Occupational Safety specialty certificate, with the same rights as engineers, provided that they are successful in the certificate training and exam. In addition, they have also obtained the right to obtain B and A specialization certificates in the same periods and exams as engineers and architects.
Graduated students can work as an Occupational Safety Specialist in all businesses in Turkey.
