To graduate from the program a Grade Point Average of 2.50 out of 4.00 and successful completion of the term project are required. Graduates of the Automotive Mechatronics and Intelligent Vehicles Master of Science Program receive a Master of Science Diploma. The Istanbul Okan University Tuzla Campus is at the approximate center of the automotive industry of Turkey. Companies like Honda (Gebze), Ford (Gölcük), Hyundai (Kocaeli), Tofaş, Renault and Karsan (Bursa), and Otokar (Adapazarı) which make up most of the automotive manufacturing in Turkey are at a distance reachable within two hours. Furthermore, automotive supply industry companies like Bosch, Valeo, Lucas, Martek, Marelli are located in this area. Additionally, Gebze Organized Industry (GOSB) and Automotive Supply Industry (TOSB) zones are at 10 minute driving distances and there are many automotive related factories in these zones. Graduates of the Automotive Mechatronics and Intelligent Vehicles Master of Science Program will be sought after by these employers.
