The main Campus is the Tuzla Campus on the Asian part of İstanbul. The campus is close to İstanbul’s second international airport Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
Campus is ideal for students with its safe and pleasant environment. The university shuttle busses as well as public busses connect the campus to downtown areas.

There are other campuses in central locations of the city at both Kadıkoy and Mecidiyekoy. Both are business districts with easy access and excellent public transportation links.
With its online search catalog and continuously growing e-journal, e-book and data bases, the main library on Tuzla campus supports students in their learning. The library has a computer lab, study rooms and late closing hours for the convenience of students. 27 computer labs on campus and wireless service in all faculty buildings and residence halls are available for student use. Our Tuzla campus has both a bookstore and photocopying facilities.
Career services office helps students start their career planning during their studies. In seminars and career days organized by the office, students learn about their own aptitudes, as well as different sectors and expectation of employers. The office also offers internship opportunities, on-campus work programs and alumni activities.
Students are prepared for graduation under the program of Business Life Preparation, while taking “Career and Life Lessons,” and studying in our “Happy Life Program” and “Entrepreneurship Courses”.
Istanbul Okan University offers accommodation for 1600 students in five fully equipped residence halls on its main campus in Tuzla. Students can choose to stay in single, double or four-person rooms. The dormitories have study halls, TV rooms and a medical center. Restaurants and cafeterias serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Laundry and daily cleaning services are also provided.
In order to join the dormitories students need to get a Health Report, which must include Hepatitis A-B-C and Anti HAVIgm, HbsAg, Anti-Hbs, Anti-Hbc.
Social and cultural activities are considered integral parts of education at İstanbul Okan University. Many seminars, conferences and symposia are organized at the university with the participation of distinguished scholars.
Students are also encouraged to take part in social, cultural and sports activities through the ctudent clubs which include dance club, sports clubs, photography club, aikido club, motor sports club, and social responsibility club.
Regular trips to historical sites and touristic regions are organized by the tourism club. The Okan spring festival is organized every year by student organizations.
Student Affairs Office
The Student Affairs Office is where student records are kept and where their documents are prepared. The Student Affairs Office is responsible for registration at the beginning of each semester, issuing of student ID cards, transcripts and diplomas with the help of International Programs Office.
Dean of Students Office
The Dean of Students guarantees the student-centered approach of İstanbul Okan University.
The Dean is the first point of contact for students to help them with academic as well as practical issues, such as accommodation shuttles and meals. The Dean supports student clubs and contributes to the personal development of students via an active social life on campus.
The University runs a free medical clinic for students. Facilities are open Monday through Friday 09.00-17.00. A physician and registered nurse provide assistance for minor illnesses or injuries on campus at Tuzla. Our students and their families can also benefit from Okan University Hospitals and Okan University Dental Hospital with special discounts.
Okan Psychological Counseling and Education Center: OPDEM
Psychological counselors at OPDEM provide individual advising to students to help them deal with any academic, emotional or social problems they may experience. Individual advising sessions are free of charge and strictly confidential. OPDEM also organizes seminars and prepares educational materials for personal development of students, such as improving communication skills, managing time effectively and dealing with stress.
