Dear Students and Employees of Istanbul Okan University,
For our students who want to participate Erasmus+ study or internship mobility, and our Istanbul Okan University employees, an Online English Written Language Exam will be held on 22nd of February, 2021, and an Oral Language Exam between 24-25th of February, 2021.

All students who want to participate internship mobility in the summer of 2021 and study mobility in fall semester in the 2021-2022 academic year should apply at this call.

Students and employees who want to take the Online English Written Language Exam on February 22nd, 2021 must complete their applications online between January 21st, 2021 and February 17th, 2021.

All students and employees who want to take the exam are required to complete their online application via kimoerasmus , print it out and send the signed and scanned copy of the application form to erasmus@okan.edu.tr.

Candidates who do not submit their application forms will not be taken to the exam.
Our written and oral exams will be carried out on our University's O’Learn Blackboard system.

Application deadline is February 17th, 2021, Wednesday (Turkey Time) at 11:59 pm. After our students complete their online applications, we will make the announcement regarding the entry to the online exam on our Erasmus website. The session announcement will be made by our Foreign Languages Coordinatorship.

In order to make your application valid, you must press "Complete Application Process" button in the system.

If the applicant do not finalize the online application and do not send the application form to erasmus@okan.edu.tr, they cannot take the language exam.

You must choose Erasmus + from the program codes that will appear during online application. Photos, contact information (Mail & GSM) are required for applications. You should use your OKAN e-mail as your e mail address.

If you are applying for the first time, click on "pre-apply to the Erasmus exchange program." You need to create your account via the link, and then enter the Turkish ID number in the "User Name" section. For the password you have to use OIS system password.

The deadline for document submission is Wednesday, February 17th, 2021. The announcement of the exam sessions will be made by Foreign Languages Coordinatorship. Students who do not take one of the written and oral exams are automatically eliminated.

Exam Participation Conditions:

• Being a full-time student at Istanbul Okan University (Applications cannot accepted from a minor)
• Cumulative grade point average must be at least 2.20 for undergraduate and 2.50 for master's and doctorate.
• Final year students can also apply for Erasmus internship and complete their internship within 1 (one) year from their graduation.
• Students who want to participate in the study mobility must be able to get 30 ECTS for one semester. Minimum credit load for Master's and PhD students is 30 ECTS for one semester.
• Foreign Language Score: Minimum 60/100 points
• The exam will be free.
• In accordance with Article 4.2.4 of the Erasmus Implementation Handbook, 5 points will be deducted from the total scores of the Erasmus mobility applications of the applicant who have applied for the exam but did not take the exam.
